Creating Productive Land through Solar Energy: CDI Group Operates Ground-Mounted Solar Power Plant

PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDI Group), through its subsidiary, PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE), officially commissioned a 4.7 MWp ground-mounted solar power plant (PLTS) in Cilegon, Banten. This facility brings CDI Group's total solar power plant capacity to 11 MWp and marks a significant milestone as an energy supplier supporting industrial activities in the Krakatau Industrial Estate, Cilegon, Banten.

Utilizing a 5-hectare area, this ground-mounted solar project demonstrates how non-productive land can be transformed into a source of clean energy. The operation of this 4.7 MWp solar plant is estimated to reduce carbon emissions by up to 5,086.74 tons of CO₂eq per year, equivalent to the absorption capacity of over 243,000 trees.

CDI Group President Director, Fransiskus Ruly Aryawan, stated that this project reaffirms CDI Group's position in providing efficient, clean, and sustainable energy infrastructure for the national industry. This move is also part of CDI Group's long-term strategy to support the government's energy mix targets and provide environmentally friendly energy solutions for the future
