PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDI), through its subsidiary PT Redeco Petrolin Utama (RPU), has recorded approximately 75% construction progress for its bitumen tank facility in Merak, Banten, and remains on track for completion with operations targeted to commence in the third quarter of 2026. The facility consists of three storage tanks with a total capacity of 12,000 m³, comprising individual capacities of 3,000 m³, 4,000 m³, and 5,000 m³. The development of this facility reflects CDI’s commitment to strengthening industrial infrastructure integration and supporting bitumen storage and distribution needs.
Currently, the main construction work is focused on the final stage of storage tank development as well as the supporting operational infrastructure. With the addition of this facility, RPU will eventually operate a total of 75 storage tanks for various products, including petrochemicals, petroleum, lubricants, and bitumen as its latest liquid product. The presence of this bitumen tank facility is expected to further strengthen CDI’s contribution in supporting infrastructure needs and industrial supply chains in the region.
