CDI Group Strengthens Chemical Industry Supply Chain with Launch of New Chemical Logistics Vessel

CDI Group, through its logistic pillar subsidiary PT Chandra Shipping International (CSI), has launched Novah, a newly built 9,000 DWT liquid chemical logistics vessel constructed at Usuki Shipyard in Japan. The addition of Novah marks a strategic step by CDI Group in strengthening the supply chain within the chemical industry.

Designed with advanced safety features and modern technology, Novah enhances CDI Group’s capability to transport chemical products across regions with greater flexibility and reliability. The vessel is expected to play a key role in meeting industry needs for safe and efficient liquid chemical distribution.

Set to enter operation in March 2026, Novah will support Chandra Asri Group’s downstream expansion, particularly the development of its Chlor Alkali and EDC facilities. With this strengthened fleet capacity, CDI Group reinforces its position as an integrated industrial infrastructure provider, contributing to national industrial growth and broader regional trade connectivity
