PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDI), through its subsidiary PT SCG Barito Logistics (SBL), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera (KBS) to explore collaboration in ISO tank storage, dry container storage, and lift-on/lift-off (LOLO) cargo handling services at Krakatau International Port. This collaboration marks a strategic step in strengthening CDI’s integrated logistics capabilities while supporting greater connectivity across Indonesia’s industrial supply chains through the utilization of complementary infrastructure and services.
As a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk, KBS operates an integrated logistics ecosystem encompassing port operations, container depot services, sea transportation, rail transportation, and land transportation. This synergy is expected to enhance SBL’s ability to provide more efficient, reliable, and competitive end-to-end logistics solutions for customers across various industries. In line with CDI’s strategy to develop an integrated infrastructure and logistics ecosystem, the collaboration is expected to support smoother supply chain operations, strengthen national industrial competitiveness, and contribute to economic growth in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.
